Opportunities At Peace!

Life begins and ends with Jesus. Every Sunday morning Peace gathers together for worship which reflects that. Come as you are for God’s universally relevant and individually significant message of sin and grace. Bring your doubts, your baggage, your noisy children, and whatever else you think doesn’t belong at church. At Peace, you belong.

We especially understand the importance of families taking time out of their busy schedules to enjoy this time together. In order to be a better partner with families, Pastor gives a special children’s message during the worship service, and a nursery area is available with toys and a TV streaming the service. Peace Kids (which offers biblical instruction for children ages 3 – sixth grade) also meets during the main message and ending part of the service. This schedule offers families an opportunity to worship together while also recognizing the need for children to receive age-appropriate biblical instruction.

We hope you get a chance to gather with us soon at Basha High School, every Sunday at 9:30 am!

Relationships are very important at Peace. We try to provide many opportunities for people to grow in their relationship with their Lord and in relationships with others. Click here to learn more about our priorities! Or look below for these different opportunities.
Every Sunday a Bible class for adults takes place from after worship until 11:20.

We will meet each Sunday for about 35 minutes after worship during which time childcare for children will also be offered. Please make time for this important and timely study!

Peace Kids gives children 3 years old through 6th grade the opportunity to learn about their God with a Bible lesson and application presented specifically to them. Peace Kids takes place every Sunday during worship. It starts after the children’s message and continues through the adult Bible study (ending at 11:15). It’s a great way for families to enjoy worship time together while also presenting children with the opportunity to be taught the Word of God on their level.

Starting Point is designed to give a Christ-centered starting point for kids in seventh and eighth grades. The program systematically explores the complexities of the Bible and life as a Christian so that students will leave the class with an understanding of what it means to say “I am a Christian.” Pastor Mark teaches Starting Point during the school year on most Sundays following worship from 11:30 – 12:30 in one of ALA’s classrooms. If you are interested in giving your seventh or eighth grader a strong starting point for the rest of their faith life, then contact Pastor for further information on this excellent program!

Our Youth Group is for teens 7th—12th grade. The teens meet every Sunday after worship until 11:20 (during adult bible class). Here they focus on building relationships with one another through prayer and applying the lessons learned during worship. Our teen group also partners with the other WELS church in Gilbert, Heritage Lutheran Church. Our two groups meet once a month for one of three different activities: fellowship outing, service project, or Bible study. Keep your eyes open for these upcoming opportunities!

Peace makes it a priority to reflect the love our Savior has shown us. We are frequently in our community sharing the message of the peace of Jesus and living that message through acts of love and service.

Come and see how you can get involved too!
